形容詞的比較等級(一)

一、形容詞、副詞的原級(即原形)的使用：

1.常用于 very, too, quite, so(如此，這樣)等之后。

I’m very busy. She is too old now. I’m so happy. She is quite right.

2. 還用于同級比較的句型as + 原級+as…(…和…一樣)，以及not as / so+ 原級+as… (…不如…; 與…不一樣)中。 The book is as interesting as that one.這本書與那本書一樣有趣。

He is not as tall as I. 他不如我高。 Linda didn’t sing so / as clearly as Kate.

二、形容詞、副詞的比較級的構(gòu)成。

(一)、 單音節(jié)形容詞、副詞.

1.一般結(jié)尾加er. tall--_____　slow--_______ quiet--_______ quick--_______

long--_______ few--______ short--_______ clean--_______ loud--_______

2. 以字母e結(jié)尾的詞，在詞尾加r. fine –finer, late—later nice—nicer wide—wider

3. 雙寫末尾的字母，在加er. red--__________

slim(苗條的)--_______ big--________ fat--_______ wet--________ hot--______ thin--___

(二)、雙音節(jié)和部分多音節(jié)形容詞、副詞.

1.以ow、er、ble結(jié)尾的雙音節(jié)形容詞、副詞加er構(gòu)成比較級;

narrow(狹窄的)--________ clever(聰明的)--________ able(有能力的)--______

2. 以輔音字母加y結(jié)尾的雙音節(jié)形容詞、副詞變y為i, 在加er .

easy--______ happy--______ lucky--______ lovely--______ friendly--_______

busy--______ noisy--_______ lazy--_______ early--_______ funny--________

3、“形容詞+ly”構(gòu)成的雙音節(jié)和多音節(jié)副詞;由ing分詞和ed分詞演變過來的雙音節(jié)和多音節(jié)形容詞,在前面加more構(gòu)成比較級。

4.以ful結(jié)尾的雙音節(jié)和多音節(jié)形容詞，在前面加more構(gòu)成比較級。

(三)、多音節(jié)形容詞、副詞在在前面加more構(gòu)成比較級。

expensive--________________ important--_______________ popular--________

different--____________ differently--______________ hard-working--__________

(四)、不規(guī)則變化(見教材P114).

good / well--________ bad / badly /(壞) ill(病的)--_________ many / much--___________

old(老的;舊的) --_________ old (兄弟姐妹間的長幼關(guān)系)--__________

far--__________(距離上的“更遠(yuǎn)”) far--__________________(程度上的“進(jìn)一步的”)

little(很少;幾乎沒有)--___________ My elder brother is two years older than I.

口訣：合二為一共三對, “壞、病”、“兩多”并“兩好”; 一分為二有兩個，一是“遠(yuǎn)來”、二是“老”; 還有一詞含雙義，只記“少”來不記“小”。

三、形容詞、副詞的比較級的用法。

1.兩者相比(A>B，即A比B更..),用“比較級+than”表示??.注意???比較的對象要一致。

句型：A + 謂語動詞+比較級+ than+ B

This lesson is more difficult than that one. 這篇課文比那篇更難。

Jim jumped higher than Tom. Jim比Tom跳得高 I have longer hair than Mike.

2.在形容詞的比較級前可以添加修飾詞來加強(qiáng)語氣：much，a lot，far，(…得多);a little，a bit(…一點(diǎn)兒);even(甚至…)等詞。

Today is a little colder than yesterday. 今天比昨天冷得多。

Tom is much more outgoing tham Jim . Tom比Jim外向得多。

3.表示“…不如…”，除了用“not as / so+ 原級+as…”結(jié)構(gòu)外，還可用“less+(加more 構(gòu)成的比較級的形容詞、副詞的)原級+than”結(jié)構(gòu)

She is less hard-working than me.= She is not as hard-working as me.她不如我勤奮。

The story is less interesting than that one. = The story isn’t so interesting as that one.

這個故事不如那個故事有趣”

4.Who / Which + be +比較級 ,A or B

Who is taller,Tom or John???????Which is easier, English or Chinese

Which is more expensive, a bicycle or a computer

5. the+ 比較級 + of the two. (兩個之中比較…的那一個)

Tom is the taller of the two. = Tom is taller than the other boy.

The apple is bigger of the two.

6. the+比較級..., the+比較級...", 表示 " 越... ,就越..."。

The more you study, the more you know. 你學(xué)的越多, 就知道的越多。

7.形容詞比較級 + and + 形容詞比較級 , 表示 " 越來越... "。

The computer is cheaper and cheaper. ???The weather is getting colder and colder. ? Our country is becoming more and more beautiful.

8.表示“大幾歲、高多少”等時，常用“ 數(shù)量詞+ 比較級+ than…”

She is three years older than I . 她比我大三歲。
